FAIR PLAY CODE OF ETHICS

The goal of the code is to create a sporting environment built on respect, honor, honesty, and healthy competition.

1. Respect for the opponent: The opponent is not the enemy, but a partner in the game. We do not underestimate, provoke or insult the players of the other team. After the match, we always thank you for the match - by shaking hands or in some other form of recognition.
2. Respect for referees: We view referees as an authority on the field. We respect their decisions – even if we don't always agree with them. We don't insult, mock, or comment on their performance from the perspective of a player, coach, or parent.
3. Respect for teammates and coaches: We support each other - both on and off the field. We give constructive criticism in a timely and respectful manner. The coach is the leader of the team - we respect his instructions and assessments.
4. Respect for the game and its rules: We play cleanly – without intentional fouling or simulation. We do not try to win at all costs. We stick to the rules, even when they are not under the supervision of the referee (training, friendly matches).
5. Respect for each other: We do not participate in cheating, even if it would benefit our team. We do not allow ourselves to be drawn into aggression, unsportsmanlike behavior, or outbursts of anger. We accept failure as part of learning and growth.
6. The role of coaches and parents: Coaches lead by example – in words and behavior. Parents support all children, not just their own. All adults are carriers of a culture of fair play in the club.
7. Response to Fair Play Violations: The organization may issue a warning, temporary suspension or suspension to a player or team member who repeatedly violates the principles of fair play. In the case of serious or public violations, a personal apology is required.
8. Examples of fair play in practice: Admitting your own foul, even if the referee did not see it. Helping an injured opponent during the game. Encouraging a weaker team or player. Admitting a mistake or offense outside of peer pressure.
9. Final provision: The philosophy of fair play is the basic ethical code of all members, players, coaches and parents working within FDC Carpathia. Their adherence is a sign of maturity, character and pride in our club.
